CT Elementary SPED Teacher-Hartford (2026-27)

Teachers are responsible for creating a positive, achievement-Oriented, and structured learning environment to help students reach ambitious goals while partnering with families to support academic and personal development. Responsibilities also include utilizing assessment data to drive instruction, implementing lesson plans with the team, and exemplifying core values in all interactions.

Candidates must possess strong instructional and classroom management skills, high personal organization, and an openness to feedback for growth. A bachelor's degree with a minimum 3.0 gpa is required, though candidates with a gpa between 2.5 and 3.0 may submit recommendations, and connecticut certification (Or process thereof) for comprehensive special education (165) is necessary.
