Core responsibilities
The teacher assistant will support classroom educators by helping to implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and foster a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for children. This role also involves partnering with families and collaborating with staff to maintain consistent support and ensure compliance with health, safety, and documentation standards.
Requirements summary
Candidates must have a minimum of a high school diploma/Ged and the ability to obtain a child development associate (Cda) credential within four months of hiring, along with being at least 18 years old. Essential physical skills include the ability to lift 50 pounds, squat, bend, and implement cpr and first aid when necessary.
