Description Description Lycée Français is looking for qualified French-speaking and English-speaking substitute teachers for all grades. Experience working with children in groups or one-on-one, depending on the needs of children and the subject matter. Flexible schedule, willingness to adapt to multiple scenarios, and self-motivated work ethic.
Role and Responsibilities The duties of the substitute teacher may include, but are not limited to the following tasks:
Lead Teacher Substitution Implementing the lesson plan provided by the school or classroom teacher Providing instruction to students on a variety of classroom subjects and topics Maintaining a safe and positive classroom environment that is conducive to learning Teaching Assistant Substitutes Assisting the classroom teacher in maintaining a safe and productive learning environment Working with students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts that were presented in the lesson plan Lunch Duty Assistance Assisting with lunch/recess duty maintaining a safe environment
Requirements
Required Qualifications High School Diploma Experience in nstruction in an elementary, middle, or secondary school setting Flexibility and a team-spirit work ethic Well developed interpersonal skills Must be in New Orleans

Louisiana Certification.
