Substitute Preschool Teacher

The substitute preschool teacher supports the head start program by implementing a bilingual, multicultural curriculum designed to advance intellectual and physical development and readiness for school. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment, meeting individual child needs, completing required screenings and assessments, and engaging with families.

Candidates must meet specific educational requirements, including an associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field with specific coursework, and demonstrate competency in teacher-Child interactions and learning experience planning. Required credentials include meeting azdhs licensure requirements, obtaining a fingerprint clearance card, and providing tb test documentation.
