Individualized Afterschool Program Assistant

The individualized afterschool program assistant supports youth by assisting with access to high-Quality programs and ensuring a positive, safe out-Of-School environment. This includes modifying program materials, assisting with personal needs if required, and working in accordance with established individualized education plans (Ieps).

Minimum requirements include an associate's degree or 48 college units plus a high school diploma, along with demonstrated competency in working with youth with mild/Moderate impairments and handling emergencies effectively. Candidates must possess strong communication skills, experience with tk-5th graders, and positive behavior management abilities.
