Job description

Overview Adjunct is responsible for instruction, course preparation, developing instructional materials, grading and assessment, and professional responsibilities as a member of the instructional team of the college or academic department.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and delivers lectures to graduate students
  • Supervises and grades students’ work
  • Prepares course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, tests, handouts, etc.
  • Maintains regularly scheduled office hours in order to advise and assist students
  • Participates in assessment activities and curriculum development for physics courses.
  • Collaborates with colleagues to address teaching issues

Qualifications

  • PhD or Master
  • Significant teaching experience
  • Excellent communication skills and English proficiency
  • Ability to make decisions and solve problems
