Pharmacy Intern

The pharmacy intern performs various pharmacy functions under pharmacist supervision, including patient care rounds, medication history interviews, counseling, monitoring therapies, and reviewing medication orders for appropriateness. They also participate in educational experiences, serve as a preceptor for trainees, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Candidates must be currently enrolled in an accredited school of pharmacy and possess a current active pharmacy intern license from the ohio pharmacy board. Required proficiencies include teamwork, strong interpersonal and communication skills, professional demeanor, and basic computer skills.
