SPED Teacher - Moderate Needs (Apply directly with Leman Academy - Bayou Gulch Campus - DO NOT apply with DCSD online)

The teacher is responsible for instructing scholars using the classical model combined with data-Driven decision-Making, which includes creating daily lesson plans and participating in ongoing professional training. Duties also involve adapting teaching methods, planning balanced instructional activities, and working with special education instructors to support diverse scholar needs.

Candidates must possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and passing scores on appropriate colorado educator proficiency assessments, or hold a colorado or other state teaching certificate, with preference given to those holding a colorado teaching certificate. Essential requirements include a dps fingerprint clearance card, first aid and cpr certification, and a willingness or existing knowledge of classical curricula and charlotte mason's educational philosophy.
