Camp Counselor - Bernice E. Lavin - Chicago

The camp counselor will work under director guidance to provide a safe and nurturing environment, fostering children's social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development. Responsibilities include developing, coordinating, and scheduling program offerings, determining field trips, and ensuring constant supervision of children.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or ged and must pass required state and company background checks. One year of professional teaching experience in child care or preschool settings is preferred, along with demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (Dap).
