Clinical Nurse Educator (4192)

The clinical nurse educator provides expertise in practice, development, education, quality, and clinical leadership for the healthcare team, patients, and families, collaborating with specialists to coordinate educational activities for nursing staff development. This role involves acting as a clinical resource, mentor, and facilitator to transition novice nurses into competent professionals while ensuring practices align with current guidelines and regulatory standards.

A bachelor of science in nursing (Bsn) or higher, or current enrollment in an rn to bsn program, is required, along with an active registered nurse license in tennessee. Candidates must possess a minimum of two years of experience caring for patients in the unit of hire, along with required certifications such as bcls, and potentially acls, pals, or others based on specialty assignment.
