  • Position SummaryThe UNM-Valencia Campus is accepting applications for temporary, part-time faculty to teach Developmental Mathematics (below college level) courses.
  • If online teaching is needed, documented accepted training and/or in-house training would be required.
  • Positions are contingent upon the need of each semester as determined by student enrollment levels and current course offerings.
  • This is a continuous recruitment beginning in the Fall 2026 semester.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s in Mathematics or related field/degree. Minimum of 24 credit hours in college mathematics and/or mathematics education courses, including a grade of A or B in three semesters of calculus. The minimum transcript requirement must include completing mathematics courses through third-semester calculus. Two years of experience teaching or tutoring in Mathematics or a related field/degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree, Ph.D., EdD, or ABD in Mathematics, Education, or related field/degree with 18 graduate credit hours in Mathematics. Documented training to teach online classes.
