Position SummaryThe UNM-Valencia Campus is accepting applications for temporary, part-time faculty to teach Developmental Mathematics (below college level) courses.
If online teaching is needed, documented accepted training and/or in-house training would be required.
Positions are contingent upon the need of each semester as determined by student enrollment levels and current course offerings.
This is a continuous recruitment beginning in the Fall 2026 semester.

Bachelor’s in Mathematics or related field/degree. Minimum of 24 credit hours in college mathematics and/or mathematics education courses, including a grade of A or B in three semesters of calculus. The minimum transcript requirement must include completing mathematics courses through third-semester calculus. Two years of experience teaching or tutoring in Mathematics or a related field/degree
require a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field, completion of mathematics courses through third-semester calculus, and two years of teaching or tutoring experience in Mathematics. A Master's degree or higher is preferred.
