Middle School Math Teacher

The teacher will manage a 10-Period day, including teaching four math classes, monitoring a study hall, and teaching one elective period, while integrating character development into lessons. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate student records, performing assigned duties like traffic duty, and chaperoning student activities.

Candidates must demonstrate advanced knowledge in mathematics from pre-Algebra to algebra i, commit to using saxon and direct instruction methodologies, and be willing to collaborate with math faculty on consistent teaching methods. Subject matter competency must be shown via endorsement, degree, passing a colorado content test (Praxis), 36 semester hours in the field, or national board certification.
