Job Type: Part-Time Temporary (Summer), with Potential for Permanent Employment in the Fall

Mandatory Training Dates: 5/26, 5/27, 5/28 & 5/29

**All Summer Youth Development Professionals must be available to attend the mandatory training dates 5/26, 5/27, 5/28 & 5/29**

Program Dates: 6/2/26-7/24/26

Hours

  • Monday-Friday, 7:30
  • AM-12:30
  • PM
  • OR 11:30 AM – 4:30 PM [hours may vary based on special events & field trips]

Position Summary

The Youth Development Professional leads daily after-school programs and activities for youth ages 5–18. You’ll bring creativity, structure, and energy to support kids in academics, recreation, arts, and leadership — making every Club Day fun, engaging, and safe.

  • Lead and supervise engaging programs and activities.
  • Facilitate lesson plans that support academic and personal growth.
  • Encourage participation and positive behavior among members.
  • Supervise youth tomaintaina safe, inclusive environment.
  • Support Club events, field trips, and family nights.
  • Collaborate with staff, families, and volunteers.

Qualifications

  • Mustbe at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or GEDrequired.
  • 1+yearof experience working with youth preferred.
  • Strong communicationand teamwork skills.
  • Must pass backgroundcheck.
  • CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
