Core responsibilities
The direct support professional is responsible for meeting individuals’ needs and developing effective support relationships while assisting with daily activities and transportation. They will also collaborate with families and support teams to provide opportunities for social and recreational activities.
Requirements summary
Candidates must have a high school diploma or ged, be at least 18 years old, and possess a valid driver's license. Additionally, first aid/Cpr certification and experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities are required.
