The primary focus is providing training and support to prospective marin county resource parents, which includes coordinating and implementing designated training opportunities. This involves managing attendance, evaluations, surveys, and supporting curriculum development as needed.

A minimum of a high school diploma is required, and all co-Trainer resource parents must be approved by marin county to serve as trainers. Candidates must also possess a valid ca driver license with a minimum of three years of good driving history, approved by the agency's insurance carrier.
