Job Description

• The Clinical Nursing Educator in the department of Nursing will report to the Director of Undergraduate Clinical Experiences. This is a full-time, 12-month or 9-month, staff position with the following expectations:
• Lead three to four clinical days per week at external clinical sites to support pre-licensure clinical academic courses.
• Facilitate professional relationships with all members of the health care team within the clinical setting.
• Model professional behavior above the spectrum of preconference, clinical, post conference and lab.
• Foster critical thinking to complete care for patient assignments.
• Provide clear expectations of outcomes to students within the clinical group.
• Provide constructive feedback throughout the clinical experience.
