Preschool Teaching Assistant - Sherwood

The teaching assistant will support the classroom teacher by engaging children in curriculum implementation and playground activities, while also handling direct childcare needs such as feeding, diapering, and changing clothing. Responsibilities also include maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary learning environment and assisting in the implementation of treatment plans developed by evaluators.

The ideal candidate must be willing to work with developmentally at-Risk children and possess the ability to collaborate effectively, communicate clearly, and adapt their approach based on a child's needs. A high school diploma or ged is the minimum requirement, though one year of professional experience working with children is preferred, along with passing a background check and drug screen.
