- Academies of Math and Science 4th Grade Teacher – 2026–2027 School Year Location: 7301 E Baseline Road, Mesa, AZ 85209 Compensation Range: $48,334.25 – $54,571.89 (DOE) Start Date: Summer 2026 Position Overview AMS is seeking a 4th Grade Teacher to join the AMS Power Campus in Mesa and support scholars as they transition into upper elementary academic rigor.
- The 4th Grade Teacher will help students develop advanced reading comprehension, structured writing skills, and multi-step mathematical reasoning, preparing them for middle school expectations.
- Key Responsibilities Instruction & Student Achievement Deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction aligned with AMS curriculum frameworks.
- Support student growth in reading comprehension, writing development, and complex mathematical reasoning.
- Use data-driven practices to guide instruction and academic interventions.
- Classroom Culture & Student Development Maintain a structured, respectful, and achievement-oriented classroom culture.
- Implement PBIS systems and reinforce positive student behaviors.
- Collaboration & Professional Growth Collaborate with grade-level teams and instructional leaders to improve student outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and PLCs.
- Family Engagement Maintain strong communication with families regarding student progress and learning goals.
Minimum Qualifications
