Athletic Trainer II - Outreach - University of West Florida

The athletic trainer ii is responsible for the prevention, assessment, immediate management, treatment, and rehabilitation of student-Athlete injuries and conditions according to state practice acts and organizational guidelines. This role involves providing quality healthcare services to assigned teams, including required travel, and acting as an ambassador for the affiliated health care systems.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's or master's degree in athletic training or a related field, along with a florida athletic trainer license, boc certification, and bls for healthcare providers certification upon hire. Required abilities include knowledge of sports medicine operations, excellent communication, injury care expertise, and strong organizational and decision-Making skills.
