Infant Assistant Teacher

The assistant teacher is responsible for creating a positive learning atmosphere that stimulates critical thinking and assists in implementing the creative curriculum and cde standards for infant and toddler classrooms. Essential duties include preparing individualized lesson plans, promoting age-Appropriate curriculum, ensuring classroom safety and sanitation, and providing primary and continuity of care to assigned children.

Candidates must possess a minimum of 12 early childhood education units, including 3 infant/Toddler units, and hold an assistant teacher permit issued from cctc. Previous experience working with infants and toddlers aged birth-36 months is required, along with good english communication skills and the ability to pass mandated background checks and physical examinations.
