Early Head Start Floater

The primary duties involve protecting the physical and mental health and safety of children while assisting in providing an organized learning environment that promotes healthy development and skill growth aligned with the head start early learning outcomes framework. This includes supporting the implementation of prescribed curricula, assisting with screenings and evaluations, and supporting parent engagement opportunities.

A high school diploma or ged is required, along with obtaining a child development associate (Cda) credential within six months of employment, with potential requirements for a second cda if working in mixed classrooms. Preferred qualifications include previous early childcare experience and bilingual proficiency in spanish.
