FY26-27 Special Education Teacher

The special education teacher provides instruction and intervention to learners, playing a key role in the student success team by planning, adapting, and supporting lessons within classrooms to meet student needs. This role also involves collaborating with general education teachers and specialists to develop, implement, and assess individualized education programs (Ieps).

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and a valid missouri

Teaching certificate in special education mild/Moderate

Cross categorical (K-12). Essential qualifications include familiarity with classroom management, a growth mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic school environment.
