Chess Instructor | Spring

Instructors will lead fun, interactive after-School chess classes for 10–15 elementary students using a structured curriculum, focusing on fundamentals and good sportsmanship. Responsibilities also include managing the classroom environment, encouraging critical thinking, and adhering to all school safety protocols during arrival, dismissal, and instruction.

Candidates must have prior experience working with groups of children, such as teaching or coaching, and possess a strong grasp of chess fundamentals to explain concepts clearly to young students. Applicants must also have reliable personal transportation and availability on weekday afternoons between 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm to teach 1 to 5 classes weekly.
