Department: Humanities

Job Summary

The Humanities Division of Jefferson Community and Technical College has openings to teach Hybrid, Online or on campus sections of COM 181 or COM 252 at multiple Jefferson Campuses.

Job Duties

The primary responsibilities of these positions are to teach courses, maintain some office hours for mentoring and coaching students, success and retention activities, and utilization of a learning management system such as Blackboard for communication and feedback.

Please note that this is an adjunct pool. We will only contact applicants as needed for classes.

Minimum Qualifications

Eighteen graduate hours in the teaching discipline and a Master’s degree, or a Master’s degree in the teaching discipline required.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates who have demonstrated the ability to incorporate diverse perspectives into teaching and student engagement are encouraged to identify those experiences in the application materials.
