Core responsibilities
The direct support professional will train, support, and monitor clients in community and vocational settings while also participating in developing support circles and expanding client participation in integrated employment activities. Key duties include assisting with the development and implementation of clients' annual plans and goals, and participating in individualized program plan meetings.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged and are preferred to have one year of experience in social services, education, or working with the developmentally disabled population. Applicants must also have three years of driving experience and a personal vehicle for transporting clients, for which mileage will be reimbursed.
