School Based Therapist, Detroit Public Schools | Part-Time

The clinician will provide mental health services including screening, assessment, and treatment to eligible students and their families within a school-Based or community setting. Responsibilities also involve consulting with school personnel, providing crisis intervention, managing caseload documentation, and focusing on improving functional skills in areas like education and social supports.

Candidates must possess a master's degree in a relevant field (Social work, counseling, psychology, or marriage and family therapy) and hold a corresponding state licensure (Llmsw, lmsw, llpc, lpc, llmft, lmft, tllp, llp, or lp). A minimum of one year of experience in examining, evaluating, and treating minors and their families is required, along with obtaining child mental health professional designation within 90 days of hire.
