Market context
Washington braillist roles are often in steady demand in K-12 settings because students who use braille need accessible instructional materials and timely transcription support. This role is competitive because employers usually look for a Washington State Braille Certificate or Library of Congress Unified English Braille certification, plus paraeducator education requirements and prior transcription experience. Review the original posting carefully and confirm the required certification path, since the job requirements and benefits on this platform are AI-summarized from the source description to save you research time.
