Kansas City Area Locations

We are actively hiring Pilates Instructors across our Kansas City Area locations. Candidates may be placed at one or more of the following sites based on business needs and individual preferences:

Club Pilates S Overland Park - 6601 W. 119th Street, Overland Park, KS 66209 Club Pilates W Overland Park - 11710 W. 135th St., Overland Park, KS 66221 Club Pilates Lenexa - 16131 W 87th St Pkwy, Lenexa, KS 66219 Club Pilates Liberty - 10434 NE Cookingham Dr., Kansas City, MO 64157 Club Pilates Shawnee - 12256 Shawnee Mission Parkway, Shawnee, KS 66216

We aim to match candidates with a location that is convenient for them. Travel to all locations is not required.

The Pilates Instructor is responsible for planning and leading safe, effective, and engaging Pilates classes for individuals and groups.   • Lead safe, effective, and engaging group Pilates classes for up to 12 clients.

  • Incorporate props and equipment into class flows to enhance engagement and results.

    Education & Experience

    • Minimum 450-hour comprehensive Pilates education certification or equivalent.
    • Experience teaching group equipment-based Pilates classes required.
    • Additional certifications or experience in other fitness disciplines (e.g., yoga, barre, personal training) a plus.

    Wage & Compensation

    The hourly rate or salary range for this position is broad to reflect the range of experience, skills, and certifications candidates may bring. Actual compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and location, consistent with applicable state pay transparency laws. Instructors are eligible for a quarterly incentive program. Instructors earn 10% commission on private training, retail, and first month membership sales.

    Benefits

    • Instructors are required to teach an average of 25 classes a week throughout a six-month lookback period to qualify for benefits. ALL Spartan employees are eligible to participate in the Spartan 401K program with up to a 5% match. Benefits include:

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to perform Pilates movements and demonstrate exercises as part of instruction.
    • Must be able to bend, lift, and move equipment as necessary.
    • Ability to stand, move, and engage with clients for extended periods during class sessions.
