Swim Lesson Instructor

The swim lesson instructor is responsible for providing swimming instruction using national aquatic ymca programs while ensuring the safety of all students. This role also involves assisting the aquatics director with branch activities, special events, and maintaining records.

Candidates must be at least 16 years old and obtain ymca swim lesson instructor or american red cross water safety instructor certification within 60 days, along with current cpr, aed, first aid, and emergency oxygen certifications. The position requires maturity, strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the physical ability to perform various tasks like lifting up to 25 pounds.
