Substitute teacher

Location: Chippewa Falls, WI, 54729

Position Summary

The School Aide will be available as a substitute teacher during the 2025-2026 school year. This position may also be responsible for greeting and screening students as they arrive for school in the morning, supervising lunch periods, monitoring halls, monitoring study halls, providing assistance in the classrooms and offices, as well as light custodial duties.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Qualified as a substitute teacher in the State of Wisconsin
  • Teaching experience preferred
  • Experience working in a school setting preferred
  • Commitment to the mission and vision of McDonell Area Catholic Schools

Building Principal

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing instruction and managing classroom environments in absence of the regular teacher
  • Maintains the appropriate study hall environment by enforcing study hall rules
  • Rotate around the cafeteria supervising students and redirecting as necessary
  • Maintains order in the hallways
  • Provide classroom assistance as assigned
  • Provide office assistance as assigned
  • Assist in maintaining an orderly, clean, classroom environment (Frequent disinfecting may be required)
  • Performs other duties as assigned
