Floating Associate Teacher Harris Family Children's Center

This position supports classroom teachers by fostering a warm and nurturing environment for young children, modeling cooperative behavior, and ensuring child safety during all activities. The associate teacher also assists with classroom maintenance, follows center protocols for care needs like diaper changing, and resolves issues with children or parents in collaboration with lead teachers and the director.

Candidates must have at least nine credits, preferably twelve, in early childhood education/Development, including a course in child growth and development, and must possess or be willing to obtain cpr and first aid certification. Required experience includes working with infants, toddlers, pre-School, and kindergarten-Age children, and applicants must be at least 18 years old.
