Adjunct Instructor - Reading

The instructor will teach foundations – analytical reading or analytical reading, focusing on increasing vocabulary, enhancing comprehension and recall, and improving reading skills to prepare students for college-Level reading. Responsibilities also include creating a positive learning environment, submitting assessment materials, disseminating course evaluations, and submitting grades.

A master’s degree in reading, developmental education, special education, or a related field is required, along with experience teaching developmental studies or reading at the college or k-12 levels. Candidates must also demonstrate effective classroom and online teaching skills and experience working with diverse populations.
