Core responsibilities
The student assistant will be responsible for preparing, maintaining, and managing vr headsets and other makerspace equipment, including performing software and firmware updates and troubleshooting hardware/Software issues. This role also involves assisting students and faculty with equipment operation, providing basic training, and supporting makerspace workshops and events.
Requirements summary
Applicants must be currently enrolled sfbu undergraduate or graduate students in good standing with an interest in emerging technologies like vr, ai, or digital fabrication. Basic technical troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to learn new technologies quickly are required.
