Writing Center Teaching Associate: WP Support

The teaching associate will collaborate with writing center leadership to understand writing pedagogy, develop and deliver workshops for tutors and students, coordinate schedules, and support promotional activities. They will also collaborate with professors on course materials, facilitate in-Class workshops, tutor writing, and develop discipline-Specific resources for tutors.

Applicants must be current stanislaus state students, enrolled or eligible to enroll, and meet specific academic standing requirements, including post-Baccalaureate students needing a minimum of four units in fall/Spring. Candidates must demonstrate writing competence, be willing to accept feedback, show interest in language and diversity, and possess essential software familiarity like office 365, google applications, and canvas.
