- Childhelp is a psychiatric residential treatment facility that specializes in the treatment of children aged 5-14 with mild to severe trauma or neglect, psychiatric disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders.

Pay
Starting at $19 to $23 an hour based on education and experience.

What you will do
Youth Care Workers provide safety and around-the-clock supervision of at-risk youth at a residential treatment facility. In this role, you will provide for the physical, personal and health needs of each youth through individual counseling and behavioral/social/physical and educational skill development. Youth Care Workers provide an atmosphere that is supportive of the youth’s needs; monitor and document behaviors and activities; and participate and assist with educational, social, athletic and recreational activities. Youth Care Workers collaborate with other professional staff to establish and meet the goals of each youth's treatment plan.
To be considered you should
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred ~ 6 months experience working with children preferred (paid or volunteer) ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
Schedule
- Work week will be 5 eight hours shifts including both Saturday and Sunday.
- Evening
- Shift: 2:30
- PM to 10:30 PM.
