Special Education Teacher

The special education teacher is responsible for instructing a group of students with multiple disabilities and creating a classroom environment designed to help them achieve their maximum potential. This role is an integral part of the clinical team involved in the active treatment service delivery process.

Candidates must be a minimum of 21 years old, hold a b.a. Or b.s. From an accredited school of education, and possess a valid north carolina teaching license or be eligible to obtain one. Experience with children or adults with developmental disabilities is preferred, along with proficiency in understanding developmental sequences and milestones.
