Job Description
- Monitor activity participation in assigned areas
- Enforce safety of open recreation and intramurals
- Enforce policies and procedures of the department and college
- Complete daily reports accurately
- Distribute equipment in exchange for student ID
- Inventory at the start and end of shift
- Record information pertaining to injury
- Assist with the coordination of intramural and special events
- Referee or scorekeeper for events
- Attend all meetings and assist with special projects Job Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal communication
- Knowledge of Campus Recreation employee manual
- Ability to take charge of a conflict resolution situation in a fair, timely, and sensitive manner
- Enforce rules and policies in a firm yet polite manner
- Willingness to acquire and maintain appropriate First Aid and CPR certification
