Swim Instructor

The swim instructor is responsible for providing swim instruction based on the goldfish swim school curriculum, enforcing safety rules, and making rescues or administering first aid when necessary. This role also involves evaluating student progress, interacting with parents, and maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the pool area.

Candidates must have experience as a certified lifeguard, youth sports instructor/Coach, camp counselor, or childcare provider, with a minimum of two years as a swimming instructor required. A high school diploma or ged is preferred, and while certifications like lifeguard, cpr/Aed, and first aid are preferred, passing background examinations is mandatory.
