Temporary Early Childhood Assistant Substitute Pool

As an on-Call substitute, the role involves supporting teaching teams in creating joyful learning experiences for children aged 3 months through pre-Kindergarten by guiding hands-On activities and encouraging development. Responsibilities also include observing and documenting children's growth, maintaining a safe playground environment, and assisting with classroom routines like snacks and tidiness.

Minimum qualifications require either twenty semester hours of college coursework in early childhood education, child development, or special education; a child development associate (Cda) credential; or one year of full-Time experience in a certified child care program. Candidates must also pass a background check and possess current infant/Child first aid and cpr certifications, a food handler's card, and cbr clearance.
