Wayne State College Teacher Education Internship

Interns will provide academic and behavioral support to early childhood or school-Age students with diverse needs in the classroom setting, assisting teachers with daily routines, curriculum implementation, and documentation via tadpoles. Responsibilities also include communicating with parents, adhering to care plans, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for clients.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and be currently enrolled in the college of education at wayne state college, with a deadline to complete new hire orientation by may 22nd, 2026. Preferred qualifications include previous teaching or aide experience with students with disabilities, and all staff must meet various training, background check, and physical requirements.
