Youth Care Professional I - Overnight

The youth care professional i supports daily resident functioning by delivering relationship-Based, competence-Centered, and trauma-Informed solutions while maintaining a safe atmosphere. Key duties include engaging youth in productive relationships, providing support services like mentoring and life skills training, and responding appropriately to emergencies using de-Escalation techniques.

A high school diploma or ged is required, along with cpr certification obtained within 60 days of hire. Candidates should possess emotional competence, good judgment, strong documentation skills, and the ability to utilize therapeutic crisis intervention (Tci) techniques, including physical restraints when necessary.
