Summer Swim Instructor

The swim instructor is responsible for teaching swimming lessons following the ymca curriculum, providing direct leadership, instruction, and motivation to students. This role also requires ensuring the safety and well-Being of all participants by enforcing established policies and reporting injuries.

Applicants must be at least 16 years of age and must possess current cpr/Aed/First aid/O2 certification, along with the ability to demonstrate required swim instructor skills. The instructor must promote swimming as a lifetime sport and adhere to the five components of ymca swim lessons in their teaching.
