ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Partner with Medical, Clinical, and Operational Leaders to manage defined training needs, including identifying gaps, looking towards future state skills, and maintaining best practices related to medical training. Build relationships with external partners to support education and career growth, including Continuing Education (CE) opportunities. Find, apply, track, and report on CE participation. Deliver in-person and virtual medical training and coaching to best support all Divisions. Provide input and support for non-medical clinical team tasks. Provide medical onboarding for new medical staff. Work with leaders to ensure completion of job specific checklists and skills validations for medical roles. Facilitate medical special programs, as defined by the organization. Collaborate with the L&OD team to create/update medical training materials. Ensure detailed tracking of medical training completions – this includes and is not limited to LMS tracked training sessions and competencies. Facilitates instructor-led medical training through the application of a variety of techniques such as simulations, team exercises, group discussions and multi-media tools. Integrates training with diverse, real-world medical-specific situations to drive learning outcomes. Facilitates course offerings in multiple locations throughout the organization. EDUCATION RN with current unencumbered Registered Nurse license to practice in Kentucky. EXPERIENCE Five years plus nursing experience, with two years mental health environment preferred. Adult learning experience Exemplary computer skills that include knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Position requires lifting of 20 pounds maximum, with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds, and significant periods of standing. Occasional minor discomforts from continual exposure to video display terminal. Reliable transportation for frequent travel between work sites.
