Special Education Teacher

The special education teacher is responsible for managing and implementing the school curriculum, supervising instructional aides, and overseeing students under the principal's direction. Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and a valid california teaching credential with special education authorization. Essential requirements also include maintaining a valid california driver's license and meeting strict physical and mental fitness standards for working with potentially violent clients, including the capacity for safe physical restraint.
