Security Officer

The primary duties involve assuring the safety of students, employees, guests, and visitors, as well as protecting college property, buildings, and assets through patrolling and securing locations. Officers must also respond to emergencies, enforce college regulations, and assist with traffic and special events as directed.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma and a minimum of six months of security experience, along with knowledge of the college's code of conduct. Essential qualifications include certifications in defensive driving, first aid/Cpr/Aed, and defensive tactics, alongside the physical ability to perform long periods of standing, walking, and lifting over 50 lbs.
