Youth Development Professional - Afterschool Program

The primary function involves planning, implementing, supervising, and evaluating activities within a specific program area such as education, arts & crafts, or physical education. Key roles include preparing youth for success, developing and implementing programs, and ensuring a safe and productive work environment through supervision and policy enforcement.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or ged, experience working with children, and knowledge of youth development principles. Candidates must possess the ability to motivate youth, manage behavior problems, plan quality programs, and obtain mandatory cpr and first aid certifications.
