Teacher Aide - Westmoreland Academy

The teacher aide will support students with exceptional needs in various settings, including classrooms, breaks, and field trips, focusing on building their skills, confidence, and independence. Responsibilities also include reinforcing lessons, assisting teachers with supervision and data collection, and utilizing positive behavior strategies.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma and be willing to complete a 10-Week in-House training program, though cpr/First aid certification training is provided if needed. Applicants must also pass a background check, health screening, and tb test, and have reliable personal transportation, phone, and internet access.
