Core responsibilities
The special education teacher will manage a caseload of 10-12 students with ieps, overseeing curriculum delivery, behavior support, data collection, assessments, and iep writing while maintaining regular communication with parents. Responsibilities also include interpreting ieps to create and implement tailored educational plans, maintaining classroom ecology, and coordinating external support services for students.
Requirements summary
Minimum qualifications require holding a bachelor's degree and being eligible for a temporary special education permit, along with possessing required auto insurance liability coverage. Candidates must also clear a current background check through the fbi and state agencies and provide a negative tb test.
