Lead Lifeguard (Contractual)

The lead lifeguard serves as the primary contact for lifeguard shifts, organizes certification classes, and assists with department-Wide safety initiatives and training under the supervision of exempt staff. Responsibilities include maintaining constant watch over patrons, enforcing safety standards, responding immediately to emergencies, and performing regular facility and equipment inspections.

Candidates must possess current, valid lifeguard instructor, professional rescuer lifeguard (From arc or equivalent), cpr, aed, and first aid certifications, along with the ability to pass a physical swim test and background check. Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills are essential, and applicants must be at least 15 years old.
