Head Start Assistant Teacher @ Tecumseh, Pottawatomie County

The assistant teacher is responsible for creating and managing an attractive, warm, and challenging learning environment for young children. This involves incorporating developmentally appropriate learning activities that meet the needs of both the group and individual children.

Candidates need a minimum of one year of early childhood experience in a licensed program along with college credits in early childhood development, or a current child development associate (Cda) credential. A valid driver's license, computer literacy, and the ability to pass required background checks and physical assessments are also mandatory.
